About the Program
Tomchei Shabbos of Elizabeth, Hillside, and Springfield, is a service of the JFS Charlotte Shak Food Pantry that distributes Shabbat and Jewish Holiday food packages, diapers, toiletries and other essential items, twice a month. Packages include meat, chicken, fish, produce, perishable and non-perishable items to enhance Shabbat, Holiday, and daily meals.
The program currently serves 65 families a month and over 6,000 individuals a year. All calls and distribution of packages will be kept strictly confidential. Precautions are in place to ensure social distancing and cleanliness.
