About the Program

The Coffee House is an innovative social and recreational program serving adults who have mild memory loss due to dementia. Our program provides an opportunity to use and strengthen physical and cognitive abilities, increase self-esteem, form friendships, and have fun. We seek to enhance overall well-being of each participant in a safe and stimulating environment.

Creative Arts: Painting, Crafts, Cooking.
Entertainment: Sing-Alongs, Concerts, Sports, Games.
Exercise: Chair Yoga, Meditation, Dance.
Education: Current Events, Trivia, Crossword Puzzles.

Lunch and Snacks included.

The program is generously funded by the Elizabethtown HealthCare Foundation, Glasser Foundation, The Healthcare Foundation of NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, the Union County Division on Aging, 2025 HEART Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners, and the Westfield Service League.

Subsidies are available for Union County residents who qualify. Private pay option ($80 a day) is available. Transportation may be provided on a limited basis.
