Offering Certified Home Health Aide/Homemaker Services
Caregivers at Home -A Private Pay Option
The JFSCNJ Homecare Program has been in operation since 1978 and offers the services of Certified Home Health Aides and Homemakers. Union County residents over the age of 60, who meet the income guidelines, may be eligible for up to six hours of homecare per week. We also offer a private pay program, Caregivers at Home, for individuals who may exceed income requirements.
The goal of the Homecare Program is to allow older adults to safely age in place in their own homes which will remove or delay the need for long term care.
JFSCNJ Nursing staff consist of a Director of Nursing Service and five Registered Nurses (RN).
Certified Home Health Aides work under the direct supervision of an RN and are supervised in the home a minimum of every 60 days, as required by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
Our Homecare Department is licensed by the New Jesey Board Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, as a Health Care Service Firm, and has been accredited since 2017 by the New Jersey Commission on Accreditation for Home Care. To achieve this goal, we have proven that our homecare services meet established “best practices”.
